Travel Tips

            1- The Egyptian visa
* Most tourists and visitors to Egypt can obtain an entry
   visa at any of the major airport , all foreigners arriving
   in Egypt should have a valid passport ( with at least 6
   months left before expiry) to get an entry visa.

* Tourists visa , is usually valid for a period not exceeding
   three months & granted on either single or multiply
   entry basis.

* How you get your visa at airport ?

*The visa is simply a stamp (like a mail or postage stamp )
  that you buy from the visa office , at the port of entry just
  before the immigration booth; you can't really miss it.









* The visa will cost you around 15 $  and after buying it ;
   you just stick it in any empty page on your passport.

*Don't worry; it's so easy once you have bought your
  visa you then stand in line to get your passport stamped
  by the immigration officer.

*useful tips , while you are buing your visa , use the
  opportunity to exchange your currency but please ,note
  USD, UKpound & Euros can be changed.

                 2- Weather
*The temperature is very nice allover the year except
  June, July , August it reachs 46 centigrade in shade
  in Cairo and upper Egypt ,so if you are planning to
  visit Egypt just avoid these three monthes

*Do keep a bottle of water with you when you are going
 sightseeing in the morning or into the desert to avoid
 dehydration or sunstroke.

                   3-Dress
*Although it is good idea to generally dress conservatively
  while walking in the streets, it is not at all necessary to
  adopt the native clothing . It is respectful of the culture 
  and religion for women to wear a headscarf when entering
  a mosquethough. More liberal clothing is acceptable, and
  going clubbing,dancing, or dining.

           4-Physical Distance
*Personal space among members of the same sex will be
 much closer than you may be used to. so don't get the
 wrong idea. On the other hand, men and women stand
 farther apart from each other.

                 5- Tipping
*In Egypt, tipping is called " Baksheesh " and we consider
  it as an appreciation for the quality of the service offered,
  the tip is excepected for some services like ;
  -Hotels & resturants 10-15% .
  -Bathrooms 2-3 EGP.
  -Drivers 20-30 EGP.
   -Note : The tips is only if you liked the service.

                  6- water
*If you are not used to drink Tap water of Egypt , so
  it is better to drink bottled water.
*Don't buy bottled water from sightseeing because it
 will be very expensive, so always remind your guide
 to stop on your way to sightseeing to buy from any Shop.

                7- Currency
*The currency of Egypt is called " Gineh "
